Diane Savino is a former art professor at Anna Maria College, Paxton, MA.  She holds a MFA in painting from Vermont College of Norwich University. She is represented by Vermont Artisan Gallery, Brattleboro, VT.  This year, her silverpoint work was featured at the Northampton Historical Museum, and she did a presentation on egg tempera for the Attleboro Arts Museum.

"Metamorphosis" has been accomplished through the medium of egg tempera, in which powdered pigments are mixed with egg yolk and water.  The artist has been influenced by the early Renaissance painters.  Her work tends to create narratives about nature.
