Item Description
This rustic redwood swing is made from salvaged recycled logs. This item is from a fallen or left over log left years ago from logging in the High Sierra's. Some of these logs were cut over a 100 years ago left from the loggers from the 19th century. They don't cut or harvest tress like this anymore. The rules and guidelines are much more strict to protect our beautiful redwood forests to ensure the trees growth and nature for generations to come.
Weight tested on this bench is 225 with no issues. Rope will be on swing but you will need additional rope to hang from tree/eve or other feature. Swing was tested up to 225 pounds.
Buy a piece of California history for you back yard and enjoy for years to come!
This item was donated by the endlessly generous Brad Gingg, shop owner and woodworker of Wood Creations And More. Based out of the Paso Robles area, Brad sells his smaller items online, but makes wonderful furniture and larger items as well.
