Item Description

14" x 11"
Connie Babian Grab holds a BFA from RIT and MFA from UMass Dartmouth. She recently retired from practicing and teaching graphic design. Her current work includes printmaking and digital photography. Recent exhibitions include Collective Marks Artists’ Collaborative shows at Spring Bull Gallery and The Preservation Framer, as well as shows at the AAM, Carpenter Museum, Little Compton Center and Zullo Gallery.
If we only look, we will find art rising to meet our gaze with every step. Connie is inspired by the natural occurring graphic design in nature, and enjoys photographing compositions found ready-made at her feet. Tiny leaves strewn across a patch of moss morph into landscapes reminiscent of geological features in a pine forest, as if seen from above. All that remains is to snap the shutter.
