Item Description
Have a big audition coming up? Prepare with professional acting coach, Annie Grindlay.
Annie began teaching the art of auditioning at The Margie Haber Studio in 1988. For 20 years she honed and perfected what it means to “tell the truth” and in 2009 opened her own studio, “The Audition Experience.”
As a coach, she has helped many actors on their way to groundbreaking careers. Masi Oka (Heroes), Minka Kelly (Friday Night Lights), Crista Flanagan (Hank) and Garret Wang (Star Trek Voyager) are just a few of the actors Annie has had the privilege of working with.
As an actress, Annie has worked on numerous film and TV projects, most notably guest starring on Three Rivers, Strong Medicine, ER, Arliss and Blind Justice. As for film, Annie can be seen alongside Jon Cryer in Plan B, Matt Craven and Michael Biehn in K-2 and with people you don’t know but should, in a lovely little indie called Town Diary.
Her extensive stage credits include lead roles in Lou Gehrig Did Not Die Of Cancer (Second Stage Theatre. LA), Suburban Anger (Playwright’s Arena, LA), Dove (Hudson Theatre, LA) and most notably, the LA premiere of Why We Have A Body at the Tiffany Theatre.
Annie has studied with Sanford Meisner, Margie Haber, Howard Fine and Diana Castle.
