Item Description

Private Feldenkrais Functional Integration Session with Dan Rindler in Park Slope, Brooklyn.

Private sessions with Dan Rindler combine an understanding of body mechanics with a highly effective approach to learning to improve posture and movement.  Chronic pain in the neck, shoulders, back, hip, knees, etc. can disappear when you address the habits of movement that caused them in the first place.  Changes in movement and alignment often lead to changes in our emotional and social lives as well.  Feldenkrais sessions but can be a surprisingly powerful way to address anxiety and other psychological challenges.

Dan is also the creator of childspace nyc, a program for parents and infants based on the principles of Feldenkrais. In his private Feldenkrais practice in Brooklyn and Manhattan, he works with students from infants through adults from all walks of life, specializing in performing artists looking to recover from injury or to improve their performance.

"Dan has taught me so much about how to learn and explore. I always look forward to our regular lessons together; they leave me feeling excited, inspired, encouraged, and supported in my journey toward greater ease, comfort, and range of possibility." -Mark Steinberg, Violinist, Brentano String Quartet

"I have long been intrigued by this subtle form of retraining the nervous system, which I currently recommend to patients whose movement has been restricted by injury, cerebral palsy, stroke, fibromyalgia, or chronic pain. I find it to be much more useful than standard physical therapy." - Andrew Weil
