Sarah Alexander is an instructor of art at Hopkinton Center for the Arts, The Mass Audubon’s Broadmoor Wildlife Sanctuary, and holds private and semi-private lessons in her Hopedale, MA Studio. Her work has been shown extensively throughout New England, and has been published by North Light Books. She has exhibited in the AAM’s 8 Visions exhibit, Gallery Blink in Lexington, MA, Amazing Things Art Center and is a Core Member at Fountain Street Gallery in Boston’s SOWA art district. She was recently reviewed in The Boston Globe.

“Proliferate” was painted in 2016 as Alexander was experimenting with movement and texture by combining watercolor, drawing inks, and print techniques onto canvas. She explored these same techniques on a larger scale in her recent exhibit Scarcely Awake in May of 2017.
