Item Description

Photography

13" x 15" x 1"

Ray Scanlon has a BS in Mathematics. A former assembly language programmer, he uses the same bit manipulation and pattern detection skills to make digital photographs. His photographs have appeared in several online literary magazines and at the Attleboro Arts Museum, the Zullo Gallery, and Newport's Spring Bull Gallery. He is a member of Collective Marks, an artists' collaborative.

"Abutilon" contrasts the leaf's orderly delicate vein network with the sinuous bulldozed path of an unknown assailant.
