Wendy Ismaili, a native of NYC, holds a BA in American Literature from Queens College, CUNY. She also attended the Fashion Institute of Technology where she studied jewelry design. For 18 years, Wendy was the owner of the Bliss Gourmet Café located in Kew Gardens, NY. During that time, the café became a vibrant community hub for artists. Her interest in photography and digital collage is a longstanding creative outlet. She lives in Providence with her husband Karim, and her English Labrador Retriever, Levi.

“Lost and Found” “The three-hundred-year-old oak tree in our backyard loses its autumn leaves and acorns every year, lovely even on our old deck. A group of photos I was inspired to take of them, just where and how I found them, grew together over time to make this digital collage - with a little help from me,” remarks Wendy Ismaili.
