Item Description
Acrylic painting of Canada Goose Decoy by Jim Bourdon.
Bourdon worked as an art director for advertising firms in New York City before retiring and moving to Cooperstown with his wife in the 1970s. There, he learned ironworking, and took up a position as a blacksmith at The Farmers' Museum. As well as painting decoys, Bourdon also carved wooden ones. Mr. Bourdon died in 2005.
Framed, the painting measures 11.75" x 15.25"
