Item Description

Watercolor

20.5" x 20.5" x 1"

Susanne Riette lives in South Easton, MA and graduated from Mass College of Art & Design. She began her career as an illustrator for greeting card companies and later as a toy designer at Hasbro, Inc. For 12 years, she had a free-lance studio in her home, with a variety of clients.

Susanne loves working in watercolors, they have wonderful fluidity and transparency. The watercolor she donated titled “Grey Poupon” is one of a series. Each incorporates colors, textures, patterns and objects that the artist has in her home. Susanne chose to include a product that is an "icon" to add a sense of humor to the piece.
