Item Description

Stone & shell

14.5" x 17.5" x 1"

Julie St. Jean, owner of TwoLoveBugz, a small hand crafts business, creates emotion-provoking pieces from treasures found in nature. Her work tends to revolve around families, and love. The natural elements in her work are hand collected when on visits with her beloved 93-year-old grandmother. Every piece the artist had created is special as they are all a personal reflection.

This piece is inspired by the artist’s own family. Monthly trips to the South Shore of Boston to visit her grandmother usually include trips to Gram’s favorite place – the lighthouse. Together they collect the pebbles, driftwood and shells used in the artist’s entire collection. It’s a special time for both and the love is reflected in the pieces created.
