Item Description
Collect a rare piece of Broadway's Unique History. Enjoy these beautiful collector's earrings created from the Chandeliers of 12 time Tony-Nominated Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812 which played at NYC's Imperial Theatre on Broadway. Hand-crafted from the Swarovski Crystal set chandeliers. that hung on the Tony Award winning set, The Chandeliers, like the Great Comet of 1812, have vanished, but these crystals were salvaged to make THESE unique earrings.
What Was The Great Comet of 1812?
Grammy-nominated multi-platinum recording artist Josh Groban starred in the Broadway run of The Great Comet, a unique theatrical experience taken from a 70-page slice of War and Peace by creator Dave Malloy. The piece was originally commissioned and developed at Ars Nova where it had its world premiere in 2012, and was soon-after transferred to a custom-built venue in the Meatpacking District in 2013. This production transforms the Imperial Theatre as well, putting audience members right in the middle of the action. The show was nominated for an outstanding 12 Tony Awards, but unfortunately, closed on September 3, 2017.
