Item Description
Wax Paper is a neighborhood sandwich shop in Frogtown, offering simple but delicious sandwiches - a place of warmth, comfort, and creativity.
Their menu features homemade sandwiches (some named after your favorite NPR/KPCC hosts!), salads, and sides with an array of non-alcoholic beverages, including fresh-brewed coffee & tea and real sodas.
Owners Lauren and Paul's main goal is to provide the community with a place where its members can eat, drink, relax, relate, and create...a place of happiness and the feeling of being at home.
They spin live records from a variety of musicians, and if you're a local band trying to get heard, drop off a record, and they'll play you!
Nicest humans, most delicious sandwiches! Can't recommend them enough. Ira Glass with olive tapenade = amazing. - Alison U., Facebook
The Larry Mantle [herbed bologna, capicola, provolone, Mama Lil's pickled peppers, lettuce, tomato, red onion, oregano vinaigrette] was an amazing mouth explosion of different flavors... the quality and dedication the amazing staff have put into all their art. I would definitely come back again... - Alan K., Facebook
One of the best sandwiches I've ever had! Great neighborhood, fantastic location, right next to a park and bike path, and a fun little place. I'll be back. - Michael W., Facebook
