The timeline of human evolution and our relationship with the environment have been paramount to my thinking in recent years. “Mars Bubble” is part of a series called Otherworldly, composed by digital paintings created by the composition of personal photographs, images from the Hubble Telescope, and Mars landscape pictures from the NASA's Mars Exploration Rover (MER) mission. Centered on questions about the prospects for human life, “Mars Bubble” playfully imagines our future terraforming Mars into a livable world.
