Item Description

A private tour for up to six people. The tour can be scheduled directly with me at our mutual convenience. 

The tour consists of a 2 hr. to 2.5 hr. trip exploring the calm waterways from Meetinghouse Pond in East Orleans, across, Little Pleasant Bay, across Big Pleasant Bay, to the North Chatham congregation points of the the Capes large Gray Seal population, to the Chatham Fish pier and south to the Chatham Light house. The trip is approximately a 22 mile round trip, and offers opportunities for bird and marine life sightings, along with great views of the barrier beach of the Cape Cod National Seashore.

The trip is offered by Captain Geoff Reuland aboard his 25 ft. Seacraft Center Console boat. The vessel is radar, GPS and radio equipped and powered by twin 200 h.p. engines.

Capt. Reuland is a licensed 100 ton US Coast Guard Captain, has 40 years experience sailing these waters, is well versed in local history and has been running tours for a local boat tour company on these waters for the past 5 years.

Item Special Note

Clients are invited to bring a snack of their choice or should the winning bidder so desire, a stop for lunch at the beautiful Wequassett Inn on Pleasant Bay can be arranged.

Various drinks and water will be provided. It is recommended that jackets be brought along as it can be cool on the water and there is always the possibility of a little water spray. There are no bathroom facilities on the boat so passengers should plan accordingly.
