About The Play That Goes Wrong
Mischief Theatre's The Play That Goes Wrong, an Olivier Award-winner that's currently enjoying its third smash year on the West End, comes to Broadway complete with its original cast and creative team. J.J. Abrams, the mind behind Lost and Star Wars: The Force Awakens, makes his Broadway debut as part of the producing team. This backstage look at the world of live theatre will show you just how hilarious it can be when everything that can go wrong...does.
SYNOPSIS: The Play That Goes Wrong follows the antics of the Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society, who are trying their very best to stage a production of a 1920s murder mystery. As the show’s title might suggest, this is not as easy as it sounds with everything that can go wrong doing just that. Despite the setbacks, the actors of CPDS struggle bravely to reach the final curtain.
