The Lotus Hand-Block Print Collection is DharmaCraft's newest meditation cushion collection crafted from traditional hand-block print fabrics from Indian and blends traditional textile craft with contemporary design. A beautiful addition to home, medtitation center, or yoga studio space. The successful bidder will have their choice of set in Blueberry or Latte.

Buckwheat hulls in the zafu provide proper support with no break-in period — it feels like sitting on sand. While still providing all the support of a traditional kapok-filled zafu, the Buckwheat Hull Zafu conforms more readily to each individual's shape and is somewhat softer. 

A zabuton (pron. zah'-boo-tawn) provides essential cushioning for your ankles and knees when sitting cross-legged on a zafu or on a meditation bench. Years of Zen Center living have gone into the design of this mat.

Zafu: 

We stuff our Buckwheat Hull Zafu with approximately 4 1/2 lbs. of buckwheat hulls enclosed in a zippered muslin shell making it easy to add/remove buckwheat. The Blueberry Lotus Hand-Block Print Buckwheat Hull Zafu measures 15" in diameter with a 5 1/2" loft. Made of 8 oz., 100% cotton hand-block print fabric colored with Azo-free dyes with carrying handle. Removable zippered cover for easy washing.

Zabuton:

Weight: Eight pounds of recycled cotton batting are stuffed into a muslin cover and tufted in four places to form a permanent inner cushion.

Material: A snug-fitting zippered cover made from 8 oz., 100% cotton hand-block print fabric colored with Azo-free dyes is slipped over the inner cushion. No need to replace the entire zabuton if the cover becomes soiled. Simply remove the cover. All covers are washable and new covers may be ordered.
