Sam Durant (b.1961) is a contemporary, multimedia artist whose works engage a variety of social, political, and cultural issues. His work can be found in many public collections, including: The Art Gallery of Western Australia, Tate Modern, the Walker Art Center, and Te Museum of Modern Art. Durant teaches art at the California Institute of the Arts in Valencia, California.
