Item Description
"Sitting Buddha" from Buddha2Buddha is a handmade mid-century modern rendering of a seated Buddha by Japanese print maker Norinaka Suzuki. This limited-edition serigraph is calming yet powerful with the Buddha shown seated in the lotus position and surrounded by rays of light. His face expresses a transcendent peace. Only ten copies of this print were made.
Norinaka Suzuki (1919-1986) was a Japanese artist who primarily produced woodblock prints and serigraphs. He specialized in several subject including antique lamps, Buddhist imagery, flowers and traditional toys like kokeshi.
Mike Fiorella of Buddha2Buddha is an enthusiastic collector of Buddha statues, sculptures, and other Buddhist artwork.
