This is a terrifically unique opportunity. Up to ten people gathered in your backyard, state-of-the-art telescopes in hand, seeing things they've never seen before. Stars, galaxies, nebulas, and planets. Astronomer David Speltz will provide a telescope demonstration and a short lesson in astronomy. You and your guests will just have to look up.
Think about it. Is there a better party idea for your curious friends? Speltz has been an active amateur astronomer and a member of the NH Astronomical Association for more than 25 years. He is the NH Chapter Leader of the International Dark Sky Association (IDA). In other words, he knows what he's talking about.
