Walking distance to Harvard, Central Square, & MIT, this brightly lit bedroom with private bath is on a quiet tree-lined street in the heart of Cambridge. Steps from great food in Inman Square and convenient to MBTA taking you to Boston, Somerville, and beyond, this is the perfect location for business or pleasure. Your room comes complete with a coffee maker, a small refrigerator, and excellent WIFI.

The space
A sun filled room with sky light, luxury linens, and room to spread out. The refrigerator comes stocked with fresh fruit, juice, and milk for your coffee. Trail mix, granola bars, and chocolates will help with middle of the night or early morning munchies. Hanging on the walls are family photos and etchings from our travels. The room comes with AC and central heating, but we have a fondness for fresh air and open windows. The private bathroom, directly across the hall, has the usual basic supplies and extra toiletries in case you forgot something.
Your host
I've lived in Boston/Cambridge since 1978 with some breaks when I lived in Amsterdam and London and have spent oodles of time in Austria. We speak reasonable German and can stumble through rudimentary French. Often in the early evening, you'll find a glass of wine or a bottle of beer or cider being shared. An AirBnB host since June of 2017, I received Superhost status in October.
Item Special Note
You must contact the host directly to secure your stay. Subject to availability. Black Out Dates include: May 15-30 and October 15-31. Must be used by the December 31, 2018. You are welcome to add additional nights through the AirBnB site.
We have two indoor/outdoor cats that are kept out of the guest bedroom.
