The coves around the town of Essex provide an idyllic setting for paddlers to explore. Rent single kayaks or stand up paddleboards and see the river at your own pace. Wildlife abounds in the water and on the riverbanks-paddlers might see osprey fishing, ducks dabbling, and any number of other birds, fish and mammals that rely on the complex marsh ecosystems for survival. This certificate allows the patron to rent two single kayaks or paddleboards for up to seven hours.
