Item Description
Haircut by Valentino Longo at Prive by Laurent D.
Valentino seeks to encourage his clients to take risks. He describes his approach as “simple yet modern,” blending precise, fashion-forward techniques that include the dry cutting technique, which was introduced to him by John Sahag, and a perfectionist styling technique he developed during his many years at Garren New York. His work has appeared in the pages of Elle and Allure, and he has styled hair for the runways of Valentino, Anna Sui, Dolce & Gabbana, Versace, Fendi, and D-Squared.
Working on these visionary presentations has inspired him to create hairstyles that incorporate the concepts of each designer while enhancing the individual attributes of each client that make their hair unique. He creates a beautiful, voluminous sexy look that’s always on trend by using his signature technique: he ends each haircut at a 90-degree angle, and while the hair is gravitating downward, he makes the final cuts.
“My goal is to create a style that remains easy, manageable, and consistent from the moment they leave to when they return.”
PRIVE SALON by LAURENT D is the quintessential downtown experience in the heart of what is called the NYC golden shopping triangle —and the latest salon creation of LAURENT D – cool, vibrant, creative.
