Item Description
Two general admission tickets to see Makaha Sons, live in concert. at the Palace Theater, Hilo, Hawaii, on Saturday, February 10, 7 pm. Jerome Koko, Kimo Artis and Mark Yim blend their voices to bring the classic Makaha Sons music to both their long term and new fans. Ageless melodies from the Makaha Sons are heard throughout the islands, remaining ever popular with their distinctive harmonies. Jerome Koko remains the only original member of the group formed in 1976 as the Makaha Sons of Niihau. Koko shares his expertise with his new band members and with your eyes closed you would think this is still the same original group. Artis and Yim will be on the Palace stage for the third consecutive year but the rapport between them and Koko makes you think they have played together for a lifetime. And really they have. From guest shots to jamming in the old days, singing and playing together is second nature to them. They have a warm jovial stage presence between them that can’t help but touch your heart. Their melodies and voices combine for some of the sweetest music you will ever hear.
