I practice a modern style of acupuncture based in the anatomy and physiology of the body. It’s straightforward, explainable, understandable and efficient.
All issues addressed by traditional approaches to acupuncture can be addressed quickly and effectively through this updated approach, including headache and migraine, musculoskeletal and arthritis pain, infertility and menstrual pain, and smoking cessation. Acupuncture/dry needling is great for stress relief and wellness care.
Acupuncture is a superb avenue for treating sports injuries and for injury-prevention. My office is located at Performance Sports and Wellness in New Paltz with Dr. David Ness, one of the region's leading exponents of Active Release Technique (ART). Massage therapist Scott FieldLMT, also in the office, is a superb ART practitioners. I'm part of a great team of people.
I am certified in Integrative Systemic Dry Needling for Sports Injuries and Trauma Rehabilitation, under the guidance of Dr. Yuntao Ma, the leading teacher in this field.
