Details:

Lakefront cabin among the trees bordering Acadia National Park. Studio (1 single large room) with a king bed loft with swing-down ladder access, queen futon couch, and a single fold-out futon chair that lays on the floor.  Separate small bathroom with shower, sink, and toilet. Gorgeous lake views, cathedral ceiling, large private deck built around towering red pines with charcoal BBQ grill and sunsets directly across the lake.  Loons and other wildlife abound.  The park does not allow high speed boats or jet skis on the lake, so it is very slow and pleasant. Private use of dock, canoe, kayak, and large off-shore float for swimming. WIFI (speed is 7 megabit download and 1 Meg upload). Close to Bar Harbor and Southwest Harbor, located on Echo Lake. Conveniently located on Rt. 102/Main Street, about 30 steps down off the road overlooking the lake, very private with roadside parking. You can hear the road.  From the deck, there are 30 steps of uneven rocks that go down to the water, not conducive for people who have a hard time navigating stairs without railings. Electricity, hot running water, normal plumbing, coffee machine, renovated kitchen with granite tops and 2-burner cook-top and toaster oven. Drinking water and water dispenser are provided. Bathroom with hot shower, flush toilet and rustic hot outdoor shower deck with warm water hook up in the woods.  Beaches, bluffs, hiking, biking, carriage trails, lakes, lobsters, and coastline all within minutes. Wood Fireplace for ambiance. Modern air conditioner and heating unit wall-mounted. This is a "bring your own" linens, sheets, towels and dish towels arrangement as there is no laundry service available (bring king bed, queen bed, and/or single futon sheets, pillow cases, towels and dish towels).  Pillows and blankets are provided. Dishes, pots, pans, silverware are provided.
