Tucked away in a small corner of Southeast Alabama lovingly referred to as the Wiregrass, 7 women dared to be different in the retail world of vintage home décor, inspired accessories, and unique handmade jewelry. During the hot, humid month of August 2015, Vintage Home & Market welcomed the public to the only three day, once-a-month, pop up market located in Dothan, Alabama. Although the concept was foreign to most, these 7 women were fearless in their efforts and desire to share their creativity and talents, all while keeping family first.
Almost considered the best kept "secret" in town, Vintage Home & Market really isn't a secret at all. It actually rather has a "get there early, don't wanna miss a month" kind of charm that most traditional retailers pay big dollars to try and achieve. Whether it's the unique items they sell or reinvent, the transformations they create with their monthly displays, or the lovely Southern charm; one thing is certain, they always put God first, and give HIM ALL the glory for any compliments thrown their way. No doubt it's a special place where friends easily become family.
Although some have moved on to explore other passions or family responsibilities, the original seven still remain true to their love of creativity and all things vintage. They ALL will be returning to organize and sell together once again at the 2018 Vintage Home Market Day.
