Item Description
From Richard Simmons Collection of the Masters, Millenium Santa holds the first baby born in this millenium - representing our hope for the future. The baby's outstretched hand reaches toward the future while he and Santa focus their attention on what lies ahead.
Enhancing the theme of hope, innocence and purity, Millenium Santa is dressed all in white. Accenting the piece, and adding just a touch of whimsy, are a floral wreath atop his head, a tiny Christmas tree and a crooked staff.
The original one-of-a-kind Millenium Santa doll was created for the Collection of the Masters by Master Doll artist Rosemary Volpi.
Certificate of Authenticity (#1062) certified by Richard Simmons accompanies this item. Stands about 18" tall.
In Richard Simmons words, My passion for dolls began when a friend gave me a one-of-a-kind artist doll. What began as one doll became a collection that now fills every room of my house. My dream is to share the work of my favorite Master Doll Artists with you through the 'Collection of the Masters' line.
Created by Goebel Dolls, a tradition of excellence for over 130 years
