Jesse Katz Winetasting (Healdsburg) 
Enjoy a private tasting of highly acclaimed winemaker Jesse Katz’s new custom blend, The Setting, along with some of his other handcrafted wines, in downtown Healdsburg.

The Setting made national headlines last Christmas, when Broncos linebacker Von Miller gave every player in the AFC West a bottle of the wine along with a personal note – what a class act! You are in for a real treat when you taste this 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon, a blend of beautiful red and black fruits that morph into a silky richness.

Jesse Katz was the first winemaker to make Forbes Magazine’s 30 under 30 “Rising Stars” list and has been recognized in Wine Enthusiast and Wine and Spirits “40 under 40”. He owns Devil Proof (proclaimed by wine critic Robert Parker as the best Malbec ever made in California) and Aperture.

By the time he turned 18, Jesse had already traveled to the most famous winemaking regions in the world. His family had explored over sixty countries while following the works of his well-known photographer father, Andy Katz. His stays at Chateau Mouton Rothschild, Argiano, Sassaccia, and Domaine Leflaive left him with fond memories of playing in the vineyards and cellars of these legendary wine houses. His experience in California includes work for Bob Foley at Hourglass and at Screaming Eagle. As winemaker for both Lancaster Estate and Roth Estate since 2010, Jesse has brought to bear his handcrafted style of terrior driven winemaking in producing their most highly acclaimed wines to date.

Dinner at Valette
Enjoy a 5-course tasting menu at Valette, just a short walk down the street from Jesse Katz’ tasting room. Valette has quickly become one of the best restaurants in the Napa and Sonoma region, recognized by Wine Enthusiast as one of America's 100 Best Wine Restaurants. Zagat’s review calls it a shining star, describing Valette as “first-class California menu meets high expectations”. It’s a big hit with locals and local vintners, who enjoy the rustic space with locally sourced dishes. Chef/Owner and Healdsburg native Dustin Valette crafts an elegant and imaginative menu from Sonoma County’s finest seasonal ingredients.

Beau Wine Tours
Your party of two will receive 6 consecutive hours of chauffeured luxury sedan service, inclusive of all service fees, PUC insurance, fuel and driver’s base gratuity. Beau Wine Tours is the premier wine tour service in Napa and Sonoma Counties. Beau’s drivers are experts on the wine country area and can also make winery recommendations based on your particular taste and interest.

Hyatt Regency Sonoma Wine Country (Santa Rosa)
Enjoy a 3-night stay in a standard guest room for two. This Mediterranean style hotel is just a short drive from Sonoma County, Napa Valley, Russian River and the gorgeous Pacific Coast. When not out exploring the area, sip wine by the cozy fire pit, relax in the outdoor heated pool, take a tranquil walk through the unique sculpture garden, or stroll to the shops, restaurants and cultural attractions in picturesque Santa Rosa.

Airfare
This package includes round-trip coach class service for two from any major metropolitan airport in the 48 contiguous United States to San Francisco or Oakland, CA, subject to availability.

Airfare must be booked within one year from the date of purchase. Airfare taxes and a $25 per person processing fee are the responsibility of the purchaser. Blackout dates: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s weeks.

Business and First Class upgrades are available at the time of booking for an additional fee. Use of frequent flyer miles for upgrades is dependent on specific ticket restrictions as determined by the airline’s frequent flyer program.
