This is the fifth dynamic year Andrea has offered the online training and mentoring program which provides training in the evidence-based practices and approaches of the Mindfulness-Based Eating Awareness Training Program (MB-EAT), as well as training in mindfulness meditation, self-compassion practices and other mindfulness practices as they support the practice of mindful eating and living. MB-EAT supported by NIH-funded research, addresses mindless and stress-related eating, emotional eating, disordered eating patterns and a compassionate approach to obesity, so prevalent in our culture through the application of mindfulness meditation. You will learn how to facilitate, lead, coach and process evidence-based mindful eating exercises, mindfulness meditation practices and deepen your own practice both personally and professionally. Guest faculty appearances by Jean Kristeller, founder of MB-EAT are included.
