Located in Monterey County on a 1850 acres parcel of calcarious soil (called "Lockwood Shaly Loam"), Lockwood Vineyard was planted in 1981, and started producing in 1989.
This case (12 bottles) of Lockwood 2013 Merlot - San Lucas Monterey is a lovely addition to any occasion.
Winemaker Notes: Opening with aromas of blueberry, plum, and bright cherry Lockwood Merlot 2013 pleases the palate with flavors of boysenberry, clove and a hint of vanilla. Balanced, ripe tannins and a velvety mouthfeel lead to a long enjoyable finish.
