Item Description
Shark Research Institute has the largest (and oldest) whale shark tagging program in the world. Some of the whale sharks our researchers have tagged are available for adoption. This shark has been resighted numerous times since he was tagged.
Sekai’s guardian will receive an 8" x 10" photo of him suitable for framing, a certificate of adoption (with their name, Sekai’s name, tag number, when and where he was tagged and the name of the tagger), and a Fact Sheet about whale sharks. If Sekai is resighted, his guardian will be notified when and where the sighting occurred.
This is a lifetime adoption and no annual renewal is needed.
