Weeklong Meditation Retreat - Karme Choling, Vermont
Karmê Chöling was established in the forest of rural Vermont by Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche more than 45 years ago to teach the dharma and provide an empowering space to witness the nature of mind. Just outside its six meditation halls and bright community spaces are 700 acres of gently rolling countryside sculpted by the Stevens River, which bends gracefully around an abundant and beautiful organic garden.
During your week-long retreat, or weekthün, you will practice the powerful technique of mindfulness-awareness meditation and explore the Shambhala principle of basic goodness — that we are all, at our core, worthy and complete.
Each day consists of periods of sitting and walking meditation, chants, and dharma talks. Take your first step on the path or deepen your established practice in a community of sincere and genuine practitioners.
This item may be applied to a Karmê Chöling's weekthün or to the first week of any month-long dathün offered by Karmê Chöling.
Includes Shrine Room floor accommodations, which may be upgraded at an additional cost to the winning bidder.
It is not transferable to any other program. The retreat may be transferred to another person. To be scheduled and used during the 2018 calendar year.
