I have been a pioneer in the New Orleans area in the use and development of cosmetic laser procedures. Along with my late father, Dr. Philip Ronald Loria, we developed the popular Laser Minipeel ™ procedure, which is a one-time, twenty-minute laser treatment for minimizing fine lines and rejuvenating skin color and texture.

More recently, there have been tremendous advances made in cosmetic dermatology in terms of new technologies, better products, and understanding of skin rejuvenation techniques. Magazine articles, television programs, and advertising messaging are now saturated with claims of the “latest and greatest” in skin and body care. It can be challenging and overwhelming for anyone to know which treatments are really effective, and which are (and there are many) going to be a giant waste of time and money.

I carefully evaluate the available technologies and products on the market, as well as the studies that back them up, and bring to my practice those which I believe will offer the best results at a reasonable price. I also devote much of my time to the general dermatology side of my practice. This includes diagnosis and treatment of skin medical issues such as acne, psoriasis, itching, warts, allergies, nail problems, and skin cancer, to name a few.
