Item Description
Camp Bauercrest is a traditional overnight sports camp for Jewish boys located in Amesbury, Massachusetts, about 40 miles north of Boston on the beautiful shores of Lake Attitash. Founded in 1931, Camp Bauercrest is a non-profit camp led by an independent Board of Directors. Our goal is to build identity and self-esteem through our S.T.A.R. Principles: Sportsmanship, Teamwork, Achievement and Responsibility.
Bauercrest promotes activities that challenge our campers’ physical and creative abilities, developingand strengthening our campers both on and off the field. We know that children grow best in a secure and safe environment where, within boundaries, they can practice making good choices and taking risks. All this takes place under the close supervision of our passionate and dedicated staff. We believe the summer camping experience is the greatest gift a parent can give a child, and we take this growth and development opportunity very seriously.
The Bauercrest brotherhood is like no other; our campers and counselors return year after year, and the friendships forged here truly do last “for a lifetime.”
