Item Description
Lumos transforms timid students into confident communicators in an encouraging, supportive, learning environment. We make critical thinking fun: we've developed dozens of argumentation games that our students absolutely love. By the time we move on to full fledged debates, our labs are already buzzing with ideas, laughs, and smiles. And we play capture the flag, kickball, and other outdoor activities that give our students a well deserved break.
Your child will gain valuable public speaking and critical thinking skills — and have fun too! Our 2-week summer day camp is perfect for students age 12-15 who are new to public speaking and debate. All of our speaking activities and debate games are designed to be engaging, active, and fun for the students. This will not feel like school to your child. All our programs have a 6:1 student to teacher ratio. We tailor lesson plans and activities around every student, to make sure the content fits their personality and needs. Our teachers really get to know your child and get to know their learning style
