The Peter Pan Center for Social & Emotional Growth provides facilitated social opportunities for all children including those who may present with social delays, or difficulties initiating and sustaining peer relationships. There are two programs at the Summer at Peter Pan Center. Both programs are an effective way to supplement existing summer programs for students on IEP’s or for kids who may need some additional social opportunities to acquire and practice social skills in a safe and secure social setting.

The 3 year-7 year old program is a half-day morning program called the Summer Social Saplings facilitated by Kristin Normandin.. This fun, creative and socially focused program is thematically based for young children. Nature walks, and field trips to a nearby playground, library, police and fire station are all part of the camp experience. The Thursday sessions ends with a family picnic.  Program sessions are scheduled on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:00-12:30.  Weekly cost for camp: $225.00.

For children ages 7-12, the summer Social Branches Program, facilitated by Donna Shea is scheduled from 12:30-4:00 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Participants who consider themselves as Minecraft Minds, Star Wars Fans, Pokemon Pals, Nerf Warriors, Legomaniacs, or just kids who want to have fun in a safe, socially focused indoor camp setting are welcome to join. Participation can be customized based on your child’s individual strengths and interests. Cost $225 for 3 days or $75 for a daily drop in session.

Both the Social Sapling Summer Camp and Social Branches Summer Camp is scheduled over 6 weeks: July 10^th-August 16^th. An additional week in August may be added to our schedule based on parent request. You can choose to have your child attend daily or weekly depending on the availability. TBA: Summer Social Teen Program designed for students ages 13-18. The Peter Pan Center staff would love to have you join their existing Peter Pan families. Item Special Note

Item donating: 1 week free (cost $225 for 3 afternoons 12:30-4:00) for a Social Branches camp participant (ages 7-12) new family only. Winners will be able to choose the week they would like their child to attend.Camp session weeks:  July 10^th-August 16^th, 6 Weeks, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays only.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A FUNDRAISING EVENT AND THERE ARE NO REFUNDS. 

All winning bidders will be charged a transaction fee of 5% of their final bid, not to exceed $50 per item, to cover a portion of the auction transaction fees.  We thank you for bidding and supporting the Merriam School.
