Item Description
Studio 8 - Oak Park presents a lovely lithograph by Heinz Seelig for your consideration.
Seelig (1909-1992) enjoyed success first as a pioneer in the budding field of interior design. Trained as an architect, Seelig designed many prominent buildings in his native, Israel.
After retiring from architecture, Seelig began his second career as an artist, primarily illustrating scenes from biblical stories. Two of his prints were presented to President Jimmy Carter and Egyptian President Anwar Sadat upon the completion of the Camp David accords. He was also commissioned to do the orate stained glass windows that adorn the North Shore Congregation in Chicago.
Already framed, this numbered lithograph can be yours if you're the lucky bidder.
