Item Description
Meet one of our Red Pandas up close and hand feed them their favourite treat! Have all of your questions answered by one of our Zoo Keepers. Bring your camera. The encounter includes up to two people age 12+. As the encounter occurs before opening hours, participants will be escorted back to the zoo entry at the conclusion of their experience and may pay to re-enter the zoo if they wish. Encounters usually last 15 to 20 minutes. Scheduling Red Panda encounters is dependent upon the animal care schedule and the requirements of the Species Survival Plan and encounters usually occur between late March and late October. Our encounters often fill up fast, please schedule as soon as possible. The National Zoo & Aquarium is located in Canberra and the offer is valid through October 30, 2018. Winners will be notified by the Red Panda Network about contact information at the zoo.
