Item Description
Winner will receive a Parent-Child class from Chicago Waldorf School
Parenting is hard work. Support and community are the keys to thriving as a parent/caregiver, and to helping our youngest ones to meet the world with wonder. Which is what they do best...
The Chicago Waldorf School's Parent-Baby and Parent-Child programs foster growth and community, providing resources for parents/caregivers and their children from ages zero to three.
Parent-Baby
The Parent-Baby Class is a unique opportunity to meet other parents/caregivers at this incredible time in your baby’s life – sharing your experience and celebrating the journey together.
Parent-Child
In Parent-Child class, participants come together in an inviting environment that echoes the rhythms and atmosphere of a Waldorf Early Childhood classroom. Parents/caregivers accompany their children in circle and story time, preparing a snack, sharing a snack, creating simple crafts, singing and playing games and enjoying physical movement.
Forest Parent-Child
Experience and enjoy the beauty of nature and the changing of the seasons through a child’s eyes. This two hour class will be held at a local forest preserve or park, where we will gather for picnics, outdoor play and exploration, poems and songs about the natural world and occasional seasonal crafts using nature's bounty.
* Pick from one of our three classes and attend for a full session, a total of 10-12 weekly classes from 9-11:00am.
