glassybaby Experience
--Hands on experience for 2 to make a Paperweight or Glass Bowl in glassybaby’s Berkeley Hot Shop with a Glass Artisan
--Gift certificate for Dining at Chez Panisse
The story of glassybaby began when Lynn Rhodes saw patients in need during her own cancer treatment. Since that time, glassybaby has donated over $7 million from the sale of their beautiful glass tea light holders to organizations that are dedicated to helping people, animals and the environment heal.
Don’t miss this fantastic opportunity for two guests to work with a glass artisan and make a paperweight or glass bowl at glassybaby’s Berkeley, California, hot shop.
After you’ve used all your creative juices for your glassmaking experience, let the team from Alice Waters’ groundbreaking restaurant create a lunch or dinner for you at Chez Panisse. At this legendary address with the foodie set, you can enjoy a taste of quintessential California cuisine from the hugely inspirational restaurant that is still converting guests to the value of eating the very best ingredients, prepared simply.
The schedule for hot shop open studio days at glassybaby varies. Please see notes below.
