Firefighter for a day for four (4) people age 12 and older
In an effort to give back to the community and raise money for charitable organizations in Broward County, Sheriff Scott Israel proudly presents the Broward Sheriff's Office Firefighter for a Day experience package. This package allows up to four individuals to become a Firefighter for the Day (children must be 12 years or older.
Schedule begins at 0745 hours at the BSO Headquarters. Tentative tour includes:
- BSO Headquarters
- Regional Communications
- Fire Rescue Air Boat
- Special Operations Command
- Lunch
- Marine Unit
- Photo with Sheriff Israel (or his designee)
Item Special Note
Children must be 12 or older and those under the age of 18 must be accompanied by at least one adult.
Package is non-transferable and expires one year from date of purchase.
Package is subject to change.
All guests participations in the Firefighter for a Day tour must:
- Complete and sign a hold harmless agreement (parent or guardian of children under 18 must sign the hold harmless agreement prior to the tour).
- Be in good standing with the law
- Provide photo identification (with the exception of minors).
