Item Description
Get a jump on summer with Amherst Early Music with a weekend of small and larger chamber music in an idyllic retreat center at the Wisdom House in Litchfield, Connecticut. This Memorial Day Weekend Workshop (May 25-28, 2018) is a smaller, more relaxed version Amherst's legendary summer festival with classes in a variety of subjects for most of the day--repertory, notation, technique, and ensembles taught by Eric Haas, Gwyn Roberts, Valerie Horst, Patricia Petersen, Lawrence Lipnik, and Frances Conover Fitch. In the evenings enjoy all-workshop group sessions, English country dancing, a gala Sunday evening faculty concert and party, and more. Learn more about the workshop on their website, and join them for a fun-filled weekend of early music camaraderie!
