Experience a night to remember and "find yourself" when you and eleven guests enjoy the beautiful Caldwell Snyder Gallery for an autumn or winter feast. Located in the historic turn-of-the century Star Building, and listed in the National Register of Historic places, the contrast of modern art and the stone and wood construction is remarkable. Now celebrating 10 years in St. Helena, The Caldwell-Snyder Gallery is recognized as an oasis of leading contemporary art, representing many of the most significant international painters and sculptors of the 21st century.
Cocktails and artful bites will be presented in the main gallery where you will discover works by new and emerging artists along with well-known modern artists. “Lose yourself” to the sweet sounds of a saxophone wafting through the gallery, setting a comfortable, bohemian mood. An artist in residence may stop in to meet you and your guests -- you just never know who may be in town during this event.
A dinner tablescape awaits in the back lounge surrounded by abstract sculptures. Sculptural centerpieces punctuate the dining table adding to the ambience of the evening. Cindy Pawlcyn, a pioneer in the development of wine country cuisine, will offer up a brilliantly delectable and artful dinner from her Backstreet Kitchen featuring the freshest ingredients from the Napa Valley. Wines from Hourglass, Jones Family Vineyards, Sebright Cellars and others will be perfectly paired with each course -- guaranteed to deliver a memorable dining experience.
