His most recent story-filled book, Crabs & Oysters, is the bestselling of the entire Savor the South series. Bill Smith is the long-time chef at the beloved Chapel Hill, NC restaurant Crook’s Corner, named a James Beard America’s Classic and to Eater's list of the 38 Essential Southern Restaurants.
