For 35 years, Deer Crossing Camp has provided an outdoor adventure for active 8– 17-year-olds in Eldorado National Forest near Lake Tahoe. Deer Crossing stands out from other summer camps due to our emphasis on skill building and wilderness safety, our focus on developing resilient youth, and our no-road, off-the-grid location (where campers hike in and all gear is boated in). Beginner to advanced classes in canoeing, windsurfing, rock-climbing, sailing, kayaking, and technical tree-climbing. Other activities include archery, backpacking, orienteering, guitar, and improv comedy. Beautiful lodge; platform tents. Camp runs 6/17/18–8/11/18 in two-week sessions; limited one-week slots available for new, younger campers. Outstanding outdoor leadership programs for older campers. Successful campers know how to swim, are excited to learn outdoor skills, can ask adults for help if needed, and want the extra challenge offered by Deer Crossing. Item Special Note
This item is for a camper coming to DCC for the first time in 2018 for at least two weeks and cannot be combined with any other discount (eg, Early Bird).
It can be used for a first-time camper who is already enrolled in Deer Crossing for 2018 for two weeks and would supercede the Early Bird discount--the family would get $500 off enrollment, not $200.
