Item Description
Lunch with Fabrice Jaumont and Signed Copy of Book. Discuss school options for your children or how to build a dual language program, around a nice lunch with Dr. Fabrice Jaumont, author of “The Bilingual Revolution: The Future of Education is in Two Languages”.
Conceived as a practical, accessible, “How to” book, The Bilingual Revolution, the Future of Education is in Two Languages is the story of a movement told through the eyes of parents and educators who founded dual language programs in their schools. All share the belief that bilingual education is a public good that can positively transform a child, a school, a community, and even a country.
The book will inspire and engage individuals who seek to create their own bilingual programs. Being bilingual can become the new norm, and it starts with our youth. A bilingual revolution has started, and it is for the common good.
A native of France, Fabrice Jaumont moved to the United States in 1997. After serving as an education liaison for the French Consulate in Boston and then as assistant principal at the International School of Boston, he moved to New York in 2001. He is currently the Program Officer for FACE Foundation, and the Education Attaché for the Embassy of France to the United States. He is also a Senior Fellow and Principal Investigator at Fondation Maison des Sciences de l’Homme in Paris.
