Item Description

2007 Seaver Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon GTS, in Magnum

Fashioned by winemaking consultant Thomas Rivers Brown for the Baseball Hall of Famer and former New York Mets pitcher Tom (Terrific) Seaver, the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon GTS is a gorgeous example of Diamond Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine displays an inky purple color, while the fruit offers up beautiful blackcurrant, licorice and plum, the body is full, and the texture velvety, opulent and long.

The GTS 2007 was their third crop, grown on a south facing slope on Diamond Mountain, made from 3 different clones grown on the 3.5 acre vineyard. Seaver Vineyards produces Cabernet Sauvignon in limited production of between 400-500 cases per year.
