Wooden Toy Sewing Machine by Needle & Nail - These beautiful sewing machines are handcrafted in New Zealand out of solid wood - native matai and pine - using an original Needle & Nail design with an oiled finish.  The needle gently rises and falls as the handle is turned clockwise which makes a lovely rhythmic sound. Unlike most other wooden toy sewing machines which have the mechanism on the outside, this sewing machine has the mechanism sealed inside. This reduces the potential for injuries and breakages by curious little engineers, as well as maintaining a beautiful, clean aesthetic.

Item Special Note

Pick up/shipping information: At auction close, item will be available for pick up in Sebastopol, CA on the designated pick up days or it can be mailed at the winning bidder’s expense.

Items are shipped via Priority Mail Flat Rate Shipping with the United States Postal Service. This item will ship in a large flat rate box (12” x 12” x 5 ½” OR 23 11/16” x 11 ¾” x 3”). The shipping cost will be $18.90 plus the cost of insurance. Winning bidder is responsible for all fees.  

If more than one item is won, we will combine shipping and make the necessary shipping cost adjustment. If the items do not fit into a Flat Rate box, the best shipping option will be chosen by the auction shipping team.

For planning, note that the pick-up days are Wednesday, March 28, 2018 from 2:00-6:00pm and Thursday, March 29, 2018 from 12:00 noon-2:00pm at SunRidge School in Sebastopol, California.  All information and details about pick up times and location will be given in the auction closing email.
