Item Description
A really nice Baccarat sulphide of the Liberty Bell. The base is cobalt blue, the top is crystal It's cut with round windows on the sides and rays on the bottom. Most likely made in 1976 for the bicentennial of the Declaration of Independence.
This weight was made for the Philadelphia-based jeweler Bailey, Banks and Biddle. It was a limited edition item, with a first run of 500, followed by a second run of 1000, which is the edition this example is from.
